Jaw Dropping!
“That’s the only way I know how to explain Mark Hartley behind the microphone. I've seen a ton of great speakers in my day, but Mark takes speaking to another level. Funny, witty, real, but most of all, impactful to his audiences. Mark is the real deal!”

We could not stop raving about your performance
“We would like to thank you for your participation on April 9th for the “I’m Going to College’ program. Your speech was very fitting for the topic and we were so thankful for your time and effort. The administrators from Mentone Elementary School were very impressed by your speech and could not stop raving about your performance. We really appreciate your dedication in helping children of all ages. Thank you and we hope that if you are available that you will come back and join us next year.”

Ajá Reneé Smith | Student Director, Community Service Learning University of Redlands | April 2003

Your message is clear, easy to follow, and will make a world of difference
“I just wanted to share with you some feedback that I’ve heard about your talk on Monday — GREAT REVIEWS! Staff members are saying that they finally feel like they found a speaker who really spoke to the new students (we had a LOT of concerns with the speaker last year!). Students have said that they felt your information was useful. In fact, some of the RAs said that they found some of the new students implementing what you advised them to do - stop and talk with their neighbors. It’s as if they needed permission to do that - since everyone heard the same message, most people where implementing what you told them to do. Apparently, residents in Badger Hall stayed up until 4 am just talking with one another in thei living room area. (Okay, so you didn’t tell them to stay up until 4 am . . . )

“Mark, this is FABULOUS! We are so fortunate to have you on staff — your message is EXACTLY what Freshmen need to hear. At some point, I’d like to work out plans with you to provide your book to the First Year Experience program (approximately 50 students). I think they would really benefit from having it. Your message is clear, easy to follow, and will make a world of difference as students adjust to college. THANK YOU so much!”

Lovellie “Happy” Cimenski-Almogela | Director of Housing and Residential Life, California State University, San Bernardino | September 2008

Energetic, Enthusiastic and Meaningful!
“I wanted to shoot you off an email this morning to just say thanks again for last night for such a great energetic, enthusiastic, and meaningful presentation last night for the students of Housing. We have really struggled the past couple years with finding a good speaker that students can walk away feeling they got something out of it and last night I believe they got jut that. Additionally, whether specifically from you or from a combination of a few different components we had an amazing turnout to capture the flag but the reason I bring this up is because of the sense of pride they all had cheering their village and/or building name, we have never seen this before after the speaker. I can also honestly say that those students that got up and left before you had even started missed out on an amazing speaker and person that could have given them a great perspective on college life and making the most out of this opportunity. Thank you again and see you soon.”

Christine Jordan | Assistant Director, Judicial and Residential Education | California State University, San Bernardino | September 2008

First of all, you are awesome
“Second, thank you for carving time out of your schedule to make a motivating presentation to the Recreational Sports staff on the importance of diversity and making a difference. The talk accomplished what it set out to do and was a fabulous start to the year. I really appreciate your ability to be in two places at once to deliver this important talk to our staff. I owe you.”

Rick Craig | Director, Recreational Sports | California State University, San Bernardino | September 2008

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you speak!
“The world needs to hear your message. Know your brilliance!”

Brenna Kelly | Writer & Director | Los Angeles, CA | March 2008

You’re awesome!
“We can’t thank you enough for your great keynote session and sharing your books with the (other) institutions. What else can we say . . . you’re awesome!”
